Aeolus and the Bag of Winds

We landed on a island to get more water. I put my canteen made of animal skin under a waterfall. But every time I put it under the the water would stop flowing. Then a face came from the waterfall and started talking to me. "Odysseus, come through the waterfall." I was suspicious, but we needed water. When I entered past the waterfall, I saw I man sitting in a chair. He told me to follow him, and he left the cave. I went out and saw him on a cliff high above me. He put his hand in the air and it got very windy, it looked like he was pulling all the clouds out of the sky, I then knew that it was Aeolus, the God of wind. Moments later it all stopped, he told me he took all the wind except the ones blowing to Ithaca, He said I would be home in 9 days. I got back on the ship and it was smooth sailing. One of my men tried opening the bag, I pushed him away telling them I would show then when we were back home. I tried staying awake until we reached Ithaca, but I fell asleep after 8 days out on the sea. It was morning and while I was sleeping one of the men spotted Ithaca, but before anyone could wake me, one of my curious crew opened the bag. The bust of air ripped the sails and sent many of my men into the water. The bag of wing was tearing up the ship but we couldn't close it. All I could do was watch in horror as all our supplies were blowing away. By the time the wind finally stopped, Ithaca was not in site. We were so close, but now Ithaca was out of reach.
